Do you Feel FREE?

Updated: Sep 19, 2022

Freedom-With today being the 4th of July it makes me think of freedom. Stand for what you believe in without forcing others to agree with you.

There has been lots of upheaval around freedom the last decade and being open to all of the possibilities to allow the idea that you might not be right. When we allow ourselves to live our soul’s purpose without caring what others think we allow for freedom to exist-when we stand in our truth unequivocally. "Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart." -Unknown

Living authentically as who you are meant to be allows for freedom for all of us. We are all unique and have individual gifts to share and when we express these gifts we let others know it is okay to be themselves too. I know when I am not being authentic to myself and meeting my own needs first- because my body speaks up and its messages intensify. It doesn’t feel good when I stifle myself or my needs because I am allowing someone else’s idea of who I should be to win out over what is truly best for me.

When we quiet the external noise we tap into what is best for us. Give yourself permission to explore this and to respect the innate wisdom of the body. Decide to choose you first-we can’t care for others unless we put ourselves first. There will be people looking for someone exactly like you and all of the gifts that you possess now so live your life freely.

You get to live life your way and on your terms as long as you aren’t intentionally causing others harm. I invite you to remember that YOU get to choose how to live your life!!! Stand in your power, speak your truth, it needs to be heard!
